The patty had a decent outer crust while still being quite soft and easy to chew. It was topped with a lot of cheese. Vegetables were very fresh. The bakery-style bun was perfectly toasted which really elevated the burger.

I was expecting a smaller, thinner pub-style pizza, but what I got was pretty typical ottawa-style pizza. It featured the same sauce and cold-cut style pepperoni underneath the cheese as others in this style. I will say that the crust was a little bit lighter than I expected.

The poutine featured real, skin-on fries. There was a good amount of curds. The gravy was pretty standard brown gravy. It didn’t stand out in any particular way.

The burger came with a 7oz patty that was cooked through, but didn’t seem to have much of a crust. It was topped with cheddar and monterrey cheese. There were carmelized onions, lettuce and tomato. The sauce was a chili mayo that was quite mild. The bun was large, but a little pasty. All of the individual elements were ok, but it didn’t quite come together as a whole. Textually, there needed to be more crunch (crispy edges on the patty or more toasting of the bun). Even a raw onion might have done the trick. It would have also addressed the other thing this burger could have used, which is more brightness/acidity. The spice level of the mayo being upped might have helped in this regard.

This featured real, skin-on fries. It was topped with a generous amount of real cheese curds (cashew cheese curds were an option). The vegetarian gravy actually tasted like a good chicken gravy, which was impressive.

The crust was thin and quite crispy with some nice char marks. There were some thicker spots on the outer crust where the density made it a little hard to chew. The sauce was nice and fresh. I could have used a little bit more. There was a good amount of cheese and it seemed to be of high quality as were the cup pepperoni and sausage.

The burger came with a fairly large patty. It had a strong beef flavour. It was covered by a this amount of cheddar cheese. The burger also came with candied bacon, which was pretty unique, though I’m not sure regular bacon would not have been better. The burger also came with a house ketchup, which was pretty good and was less sweet that Heinz’, so maybe the bacon being candied was advantageous. The bakery-style bun was pretty good. I do have to dock some marks for mixed greens on this burger. They just didn’t work from a flavour perspective, as they brought too much bitterness. They were also a detriment textually.

This featured skin-on fries. There was a good amount of cheese curds. The gravy was the most interesting element. It tasted like a combination of beef and chicken gravy with a pepper note.

The burger had a fairly large (6-8 oz.) patty cooked well done with a lot of grilled flavour. It had a reasonably good amount of cheddar and quite a lot of bacon. The bacon was cooked more than I typically like it, but most people would appreciate how crispy it was. The vegetables were very fresh. The brioche style bun was well toasted. It came with garlic aioli, which was a good choice, but it needed more aioli to balance out the rest of the burger.

The poutine came with hand-cut fries that were really crispy and a little sweet. It had a good amount of cheese curds. The gravy was standard brown gravy but a little saltier than most which balanced out the sweetness in the fries. I really enjoyed this.
