Review: I opted for 2 patties. The patties were the definition of smashpatties, thin with crispy, lacy edges. There was a thick slice of American cheese. I enjoyed the shredded lettuce and burger sauce. The bun looked plain, but it was actually more dense than I expected. This was very good. Rating: 8.6/10

Gaga Patates – Burger
Review: The patty was about 1/4 lb, cooked well-done on the flat top. It was topped with a slice of processed cheese. I really enjoyed the combination of the grilled onions and iceberg lettuce. It was all on a plain bun that was lightly toasted. Rating: 6.5/10
Pong’s Poutine – Burger
Review: The burger was quite big with a patty that seemed to be in the 6-7oz range. It was cooked well done and placed on top of the cheese. It had regular leaf lettuce. Everything was on a large bakery-style bun. It was good, but a little too bready. Rating: 7.0/10
Poutinerie La Trappe – Burger
Review: The patty was fairly large, probably in the 5-6oz range. It was cooked to well done, but had no outer crust. It was very soft. It was topped with a generous amount of roquette cheese. I really enjoyed the crispy onions, the aioli and the pretzel bun. I didn’t love the greens. This burger …
Smash Daddy – Burger
Review: This had 2 thin patties with a nice crust. There was a generous amount of cheese. The burger sauce was solid. The pickles were among the best I’ve ever had. The bun held up just enough. The meat to cheese to bun ratio was very good. Rating: 8.1/10
Friterie 1151 – Burger
Review: The patty was relatively small and cooked well done. It had a slice of processed cheese. The veggies were all decent. I liked that the sesame bun was toasted inside and out. Rating: 6.4/10
Frank & Mos – Burger
Review: The patty was about 1/4 lb, with a crispy crust. It was covered by a slice of processed cheese. The veggies were fresh and there was a generous amount of them. It seemed to have whipped dressing rather than mayo, which I didn’t mind at all. The bun was plain. Rating: 6.8/10
Houston Avenue Bar & Grill – Burger
Review: This had double smash patties that were nicely crispy. They were topped with good quality cheddar and bacon. The burger sauce was pretty good. The potato bun was well toasted. Rating: 7.8/10
Smoque Shack – Burger
Review: This was labeled as a smashburger, but the meat was a little thick to be considered a smash patty. It was topped with a slice of processed cheddar. The veggies were ok. The bun was nice but could have been toasted more. Interestingly, I thought the pickles were the best part of the burger. …
Coco Frites – Burger
Review: This had a small patty (2-3oz) cooked well done with processed cheese. I liked the choices they made with the vegetables (iceberg lettuce, chopped onions, thin tomato). The most unique thing about the burger was that the bun was pressed like a panini. Rating: 6.0/10
