It had standard-cut, “real” fries. The gravy was ok, though it needed a lot of salt. The amount of curds included was just about right.

This was a small, fairly standard chip truck burger. It had a nicely toasted sesame bun. The patty was softer than expected, but also had a texture that suggested it had filler (more like meatloaf). It was sadly the weakest part of the burger. There was a generous amount of processed cheddar and I had to give bonus points for iceberg lettuce.

This had real, skin-on, standard-cut fries. They were fairly crispy. There was also a good amount of curds. The gravy was pretty standard. There was a reasonable amount of it but I did need to add some salt to it.

This had a 6 oz patty that I believe was cooked in a panini-press-style grill. The bun fell apart a bit on me, but it was good. This was their attempt at mimicking a Big Mac which is pretty common for burger joints and I have to say that among the ones I’ve tried, no one has come this close to matching the sauce. The only really weak element of the burger was the lettuce. It was soggy (shredded leaf lettuce).

This was pretty much the definition of Ottawa-style pizza. It had the typical, thick crust, but with a slightly less eggy base. Despite being thick, it was fully cooked. The sauce was even sweeter than I’d expected, which I actually appreciated. The toppings (pepperoni and onion) were included under the reasonably generous amount of cheese.

This burger had a very thick patty that would fall in the 6-8oz range. It was juicy and deliciously seasoned with a nice crust. It was topped with aged cheddar. The bacon jam was very good and the aioli was perfect. Veggies were all fresh. The bun was good, but maybe the weakest element as it fell apart a bit when the juices came out of the patty. Overall, this was a very good burger.

This poutine had real fries that were cooked perfectly. The gravy was pretty standard though it had a hint of that spicy bbq gravy roasted chicken places sometimes offer. There was a little bit too much of it. The poutine was reasonably cheesy.

The burger was on the smaller side. The sesame bun was good. I got a double because the patties were much less than a quarter pound (similar to a McDonald’s burger), except they were “real” (hand-formed). The cheese was standard processed cheddar. They offered free fried onions, which is always a bonus. The lettuce was shaved.

The patty was well-done and topped with a smoked cheddar. It also had peppercorn bacon and an onion ring. The chipotle mayo was good, but it could have used a little bit more. There were really good quality ingredients across the board, but the sum of all the parts just didn’t quite add up to as much as it should have. It was still quite a strong effort.

The patty was much thicker than it was in years past. It was cooked very well-done which resulted in it being a little dry. There was a nice quality cheese on top of the patty. This burger came with jalapenos and grilled onions which were both good. The best part of the burger was the home-style bun which was well toasted.
