This featured a hand-formed patty with a crispy outer layer. It was not seasoned. There was decent quality cheese. Vegetables were fresh. The slightly crusty bun was excellent.

The poutine had real, standard-cut, skin-on fries that were perfectly done. The gravy was very beefy/good. There was an adequate amount of cheese, but it might have benefited from a little bit more.

The patty was dense and pre-formed. It seemed to be seasoned quite a bit. The grill did add a little charcoal flavour. The cheese was standard processed cheddar. The brioche-style bun was probably the best part of the burger. It was pretty heavy on the toppings, which actually detracted a bit from the burger.

This poutine was made with home fries instead of french fries. There was something off that just didn’t work for me. I suspect it was the heavily seasoned potatoes. The gravy was ok and there was a fair amount of cheese.

The patty had a nice charcoal smokiness and it was covered with a good amount of processed cheddar. The veggies were fresh. The sauce was a little sweet. The bun held up pretty well.

This featured real, hand-cut fries. The gravy was a little too mild. The ratio of cheese, to fries, to gravy was good. I did get a couple undercooked fries, but I’ll take the trade off for real potatoes. Had the gravy been richer and the fries properly cooked, this would have scored MUCH higher.

This featured real, skin-on fries that were pretty crispy. The poutine looked the part with dark brown gravy and a decent amount of cheese on top. Unfortunately, it was a bit of an illusion. The toppings were only on top. The gravy, despite the dark colour, was light in flavour.

The fries were pretty good. There was a good amount of cheese. The gravy had a bit of tea-like aftertaste. It was ok, but there was simply too much of it. It was way too soupy.

This was a pretty typical chip truck/stand burger. It had a small, dense, well-done patty. It seemed cheesier than most similar burgers. The tomato was a little too thick. Everything else was just adequate.

This was a flatbread-style pizza. Unfortunately, my crust was burnt (not just charred) badly along all of the edges. It was hard like a rock and had that bitter metallic burnt taste. Interestingly, were that not the case, this would have received a reasonable score. The sausage was very nice and the cheese to sauce to crust ratio was just about right. The sauce lacked a little herbaceousness, but it did strike a good salty/sweet balance. Unfortunately, I have to score what I received, not what I could have gotten.
