Review: The patty had a decent outer crust while still being quite soft and easy to chew. It was topped with a lot of cheese. Vegetables were very fresh. The bakery-style bun was perfectly toasted which really elevated the burger. Rating: 8.2/10

O’Brien’s Roadhouse – Burger
Review: The burger came with a 7oz patty that was cooked through, but didn’t seem to have much of a crust. It was topped with cheddar and monterrey cheese. There were carmelized onions, lettuce and tomato. The sauce was a chili mayo that was quite mild. The bun was large, but a little pasty. All …
Occo Kitchen – Burger
Review: The burger came with a fairly large patty. It had a strong beef flavour. It was covered by a this amount of cheddar cheese. The burger also came with candied bacon, which was pretty unique, though I’m not sure regular bacon would not have been better. The burger also came with a house ketchup, …
Quinn’s Ale House – Burger
Review: The burger had a fairly large (6-8 oz.) patty cooked well done with a lot of grilled flavour. It had a reasonably good amount of cheddar and quite a lot of bacon. The bacon was cooked more than I typically like it, but most people would appreciate how crispy it was. The vegetables were …
Koven – Burger
Review: The burger came with a hand formed patty that had a lot of grill flavour. It had a generous amount of cheddar and reasonably thick-cut bacon. The sesame bun was lightly toasted. Everything about this burger was very competent. Rating: 8.0/10
Joey’s Rideau – Burger
Review: The burger came with a hand-pressed patty. It was cooked well done. I added cheddar and bacon to the burger. I thought the bacon was cooked perfectly. Their burger sauce was good and I liked the use of shredded iceberg lettuce. The bun was a good quality brioche-style bun. It was fairly large. This …
La Patate Doree – Burger
Review: This was a pretty typical chip truck/stand burger. It was pretty small with a sub 1/4lb patty cooked well done. I got a slice of processed cheddar with it. I was happy to get grilled onion. The bun was basic, but suited the burger and was well toasted. Rating: 5.9/10
Lonestar Texas Grill – Burger
Review: The burger came with a grilled 7 oz. patty cooked well done. The meat did not have a ton of flavour. I added a slice of cheddar to it. Vegetables were all fresh. The bakery bun was well toasted, which always helps. Rating: 6.3/10
State and Main – Burger
Review: The burger came with two smaller patties topped with a slice of american cheese. The burger sauce was good. I appreciated the shaved iceberg lettuce. The bun was large and made things a little dry (the burger could have used more sauce to counteract the bun). Rating: 6.9/10
La Belle et La Boeuf – Burger
Review: The burger came with two 5 oz. patties cooked well-done with crispy edges. Each patty was covered by a slice of cheddar. The burger sauce (inspired by a Big Mac) was quite good, though there was a lot of it which made things messy. Thankfully, the bun was able to hold up to the …
