Review: The bun was very nice with a little more body than most. The patty was well cooked but not very flavourful. There was a slice of cheddar on it. My least favourite part of the burger was that it used mixed greens instead of a proper lettuce. Rating: 6.5/10

Level One Game Pub – Burger
Review: This burger had thin patties which were crispy on the outside yet still cooked medium on the inside. It had a lot of cheddar cheese. Some nice crispy onions and a BBQ sauce. It also had lettuce. It all came on a brioche-style bun. I enjoyed it, but I feel like a mayo-based sauce …
Luxe Bistro – Burger
Review: This burger came on a brioche-style bun that was perfectly toasted. It had a generous amount of perfectly cooked bacon. There was a generous amount of cheddar cheese on it. A garlic aioli was the sauce of choice and I have to give bonus points for shredded iceberg lettuce. The 1/4 lb brisket patty …
Le Retro – Burger
Review: This was a typical “chip truck” type of burger, even though it’s from an actual restaurant. It was a little small. The patty was densely packed, very well done. It did have a lot of processed cheese, which was nice. The vegetables were ok, though the lettuce wilted a little bit. The bun was …
Hog’s Back Restaurant – Burger
Review: The patty was rather plain and lacked any interesting character. It was covered with some processed cheddar. I liked that it had iceberg lettuce. The bun was a little dry, but I still appreciated that it was toasted. Rating: 5.9/10
Patio Vidal – Burger
Review: This came with 2 approximately 1/4 lb patties (maybe a little smaller). They were a little too densely packed, but cooked well done. They were topped with a generous amount of crispy bacon and slices of processed cheese. There was way too much tomato on there, which I easily remedied. The bun was a …
Connor’s Irish Pub – Burger
Review: I really enjoyed this burger. It tasted very familiar to me. The burger was actually topped with an onion ring. The patty appeared to be a little bit bigger than a quarter pound and cooked on the flat top. There was a really nice piece of cheese melted onto the patty. There were also …
Clocktower – Burger
Review: The patty was about 1/4 lb and well-done, covered with some melted cheddar. The house sauce worked with the burger, though it could have used more because there were a little too many vegetables, which I needed to thin out a bit. The bun was very generic, but I did appreciate that it was …
Aulde Dubliner – Burger
Review: This burger sure looked the part. I liked the brioche-style bun as well as the bacon, which was not overdone. The cheese was a nice departure from processed cheddar. The vegetables were fresh and the BBQ sauce was absolutely fine. So, there were a lot of things to like about the burger, but the …
Marcello’s Burgers and Beef – Burger
Review: This featured two thin patties cooked on the flat top. The beef seemed very fresh. There was a generous amount of processed cheddar. The bun was of a brioche style. I added onions, lettuce and mayonnaise. This was very good. Rating: 8.3/10
