Review: The fries were real and thinner than a standard cut. The gravy had a nice consistency and there was a very nice amount of curds. Rating: 7.5/10

Burger Factory – Poutine
Review: The poutine looked good with skin-on fries, but they were a little pasty as well. The gravy was a little light. There were just enough curds, but I would have liked more. Rating: 4.6/10
Great Canadian Poutinerie – Poutine
Review: This had very crispy, skin-on fries that fall somewhere between standard and julienne cut. It had a very generous amount of cheese curds. The gravy had a deep, beefy flavour and was reasonably thick. This was very good overall. Rating: 8.5/10
Shakey’s Homestyle Cuisine and Deli – Poutine
Review: This had the crispy, frozen fries that I’ve grown tired of. The gravy was good and salty and there was a decent amount of cheese curds. Rating: 5.0/10
Atomic Rooster – Poutine
Review: The poutine had real, standard-cut, skin-on fries that were perfectly done. The gravy was very beefy/good. There was an adequate amount of cheese, but it might have benefited from a little bit more. Rating: 7.8/10
Grillades Torino – Poutine
Review: This poutine was made with home fries instead of french fries. There was something off that just didn’t work for me. I suspect it was the heavily seasoned potatoes. The gravy was ok and there was a fair amount of cheese. Rating: 4.7/10
Rock’n Deli – Poutine
Review: This featured real, hand-cut fries. The gravy was a little too mild. The ratio of cheese, to fries, to gravy was good. I did get a couple undercooked fries, but I’ll take the trade off for real potatoes. Had the gravy been richer and the fries properly cooked, this would have scored MUCH higher. …
Bash’s Gourmet Food Truck – Poutine
Review: This featured real, skin-on fries that were pretty crispy. The poutine looked the part with dark brown gravy and a decent amount of cheese on top. Unfortunately, it was a bit of an illusion. The toppings were only on top. The gravy, despite the dark colour, was light in flavour. Rating: 6.8/10
Casse-Croute Limbour – Poutine
Review: The fries were pretty good. There was a good amount of cheese. The gravy had a bit of tea-like aftertaste. It was ok, but there was simply too much of it. It was way too soupy. Rating: 6.6/10
Lou Fast Food – Poutine
Review: It had standard-cut, “real” fries. The gravy was ok, though it needed a lot of salt. The amount of curds included was just about right. Rating: 6.2/10
