They were a little crispy, but still relatively soft. They were heavily seasoned with something like Montreal steak seasoning, which was actually my least favourite aspect of the burger. It was just a little too much for me, especially because of the high flavour\/fat content of the brisket patties. The patties were topped with cheddar cheese. I really enjoyed the sauce, which was similar to a Big Mac sauce. The only vegetables included were pickles (tons of them). I do regret not asking to add lettuce to the burger. I felt like it could use something fresh.
